Cookies

We use our own cookies and those of partner companies on our website.

What are cookies and how are they used?

Cookies are small files that are stored on your computer or mobile device when you visit our website. The information obtained through these cookies is used to make your visit and use of our webpages easier, to tailor the webpages to the needs of visitors, to improve the webpages and for statistical purposes. No personal data is collected via the cookies used on our websites, which means that the analysis is always anonymous.

However, you may decide whether cookies from our webpages may be stored on your computer. If you do not want this, you can deactivate the corresponding option or configure the desired cookie settings at any time in your browser settings. You can also delete cookies that have already been stored at any time.

Which cookies do we use?

We use both temporary and permanent cookies. Permanent cookies remain on your computer or mobile device even after a browser session has ended. This allows us to automatically recognise you on your next visit and display the website to you with your preferred settings (e.g. language). We thus aim to make our website more user-friendly, efficient and secure. The cookies are stored on your device for a period of between one month and 10 years, and are automatically deleted after the programmed time has elapsed.

What happens if our cookies are restricted or completely blocked?

If you decide not to accept our cookies or those of our partner companies, please be aware that you may not be able to see certain information on our website or may not be able to use some functions that are intended to improve your visit.

Web analytics services

We use web analysis services on our website, in order to constantly improve and offer you an even better service in the future. In order to identify potential for improvement and to tailor our website to users’ needs, the web analytics services that we use employ tracking technologies.

Which web analytics services do we use?

For our webpages, we use:

Google Analytics

Google Analytics is a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, Mountain View (CA), USA (‘Google’). The cookies used by Google Analytics are stored on your computer or mobile device and enable your use of our website to be analysed.

The information that the cookie generates about your use of this website is transmitted to a Google server (particularly in the USA) and stored there; this information includes the browser type/version, the operating system, the webpage from which the visit originated (referrer URL), the IP address of the requesting computer and the time of the server request. Please note that Google Analytics on this website has been expanded with IP anonymisation, which enables IP addresses to be recorded anonymously (‘IP masking’). As IP anonymisation is activated on this website, your IP address is first truncated by Google within member states of the European Union or in countries that are party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. This makes it impossible to identify your devices. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address sent to a Google server in the US and truncated there. The IP address transmitted by your web browser within the context of Google Analytics is not combined with other data held by Google. More information about Google Analytics’ terms of service and data protection can be found at https://www.google.com/analytics/terms/us.html and https://policies.google.com. Google will use this information on our behalf to analyse your use of our website, to compile reports on website activity and to render other services relating to use of the website and the internet for us as the website operator. The recipient of the collected data is Google.

You can prevent storage of cookies by Google by changing the corresponding settings in your browser software; however, please be aware that you may not be able to enjoy all the functions of this website if you do so. Furthermore, you can prevent data generated by the cookie about your use of this website (including your IP address) from being sent to and processed by Google; this can be done by downloading and installing the browser plug-in from the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en; these ‘opt-out cookies’ will prevent collection of your data by Google Analytics when you visit our website in future.

Social media plug-ins

Our website uses the social media plug-in of Twitter Inc., San Francisco (CA), USA (‘Twitter’) to display tweets on Twitter. The Twitter components integrated into our website enable Twitter to record your visit to our website through transmission of your data (particularly your IP address) and assign it to your Twitter profile when you are logged in. More information about how data is processed by Twitter can be found in its privacy policy at: https://twitter.com/en/privacy.

Our website contains hyperlinks to websites that are not operated or monitored by Mobimo. Mobimo is not responsible for their content, or for how your personal data is used. We recommend that you read the privacy policies for the respective sites.

We generally display the links, which must then be clicked separately in order to use the corresponding third-party websites. However, the following exceptions should be noted:

ImmoScout24

When presenting our properties, we integrate an ImmoScout24 iFrame, provided by Scout24 Schweiz AG, based in Wünnewil-Flamatt. The integration of the iFrame is indicated at the end of the corresponding page.

Google Maps

In order to show the locations of our properties more effectively, Google Maps from Google LLC, Mountain View (CA), USA (‘Google’) is integrated on our website.

As soon as you access a sub-page in which a Google map is integrated, information about your use of our website (e.g. your IP address) is transmitted to Google’s servers in the US and stored there. This occurs irrespective of whether you are logged into a Google user account. If you are logged into Google, your information will be directly associated with your account. If you do not want it to be associated with your Google profile, you must log out of your Google account. Google stores your data (even if you are not logged in) as user profiles and analyses these for the purpose of advertising, market research and/or customisation of its website to users’ needs. You have the right to object to the creation of such user profiles by contacting Google directly.

If you do not agree to transmission of your data to Google in future in connection with the use of Google Maps, you also have the option of completely deactivating the Google Maps web service by turning off the JavaScript application in your browser. This will mean that Google Maps and the map on our website cannot be used.

Further information on the purpose and scope of Google’s data collection and processing can be found in Google Maps’ terms of service and Google’s privacy policy. These also contain further information on your rights and settings options for protection of your privacy: https://www.google.com/intl/en_US/help/terms_maps.html and https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en&gl=en.

We incorporate content and services from third parties for the purpose of designing and optimising our website to users’ needs. As a result of incorporating such content and services, data relating to our website visitors (particularly their IP address) is automatically transmitted to the respective third-party provider and may be stored there or processed in other ways, since without this information the content and services of these third parties cannot be sent to the browser of your computer or mobile device. If you are logged into Vimeo at the same time, Vimeo can assign this information to your personal profile. If you do not want this to happen, you must log out of your Vimeo user account. In any case, Vimeo is fully responsible for processing your data and does so in accordance with its privacy policy, which you can find at https://vimeo.com/privacy.
