Transparency and communication were two of the guiding principles for the 5,800 m² headquarters of 3M EMEA GmbH near Langenthal train station. This is evident in the bright inner courtyard, which is used for meetings and exhibitions, and in the open-plan design of the actual office area for around 350 employees. The colour scheme of the office building, designed by Zurich architecture firm Marazzi und Paul, matches the patina of the station surroundings.
